The Weight-Loss Lie: When “Good” News Can Actually Be Bad
Losing weight is often appreciated as a positive accomplishment. It is seen as an indication of better health, self-control or a shift in lifestyle. However, if losing weight was accidental, it is really not considered a victory. Abrupt weight loss can indeed be a warning sign. This is true if it occurs without dietary or exercise changes. It can sometimes signal serious underlying health issues and may include metabolic disorders, chronic infections and sometimes even Pancreatic Cancer or other types of cancers. It can save lives if we properly recognize the warning signs of weight loss.
